The permanent 12th Tactical Fighter Wing memorial was established at the War Memorial Park at Fremont County Airport, Canon City, Colorado, in 2001 and a dedication ceremony was held on 16 September 2001. Since then, a few former 12th TFW members have gathered in Canon City each year. The 12TFW Association held a reunion in Denver 18-22 September 2008. On 19 September, those attending the reunion travelled to Canon City to participate in a re-dedication program.
2010
An informal re-dedication/mini-reunion is again planned at Canon City 25-29 Aug 10. As has been the tradition, days will be spent touring and shopping and socializing, and evening dinners will be enjoyed at our favored restaurants.
