The permanent 12th Tactical Fighter Wing memorial was established at the War Memorial Park at Fremont County Airport, Cañon City, Colorado, in 2001 and a dedication ceremony was held on 16 September 2001. Since then, a few former 12th TFW members have gathered in Cañon City each year.
